Position Summary:
Provides quality personal care to clients in home setting. Assists clients with Activities of Daily Living. Performs combination of duties, under the direction of clinical staff to maintain and promote healing. Recognizes disease process, participates in assessing, treating and controlling skin breakdown. Promotes positive relationships with client/family and other agency staff. Adheres to agency policies and procedures. Participates in disaster preparedness plan as needed.
Qualifications:
Graduation from High School or equivalency is required
Must have Florida CNA Certification. Medication Assistance training (4 hour course) is strongly preferred. If aide does not have upon hire, must obtain within 1st 90-days of employment.
Medically related background is helpful.
Current CPR certification
Reliable transportation
Valid driver license and auto insurance required.
