Twelve Oaks Recovery Center is seeking a full-time Admissions Nurse to work Monday through Friday from 2pm-10pm. The position involves reviewing pre-admission documents, conducting nursing assessments, and determining patient eligibility for admission. The role requires collaboration with medical staff, patient orientation, and maintaining documentation while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should be a licensed RN or LPN with preferably one year of clinical nursing experience.

Twelve Oaks is looking to hire a Full Time Nurse to join our Admissions team. This position will work 2pm-10pm - five days per week (Monday - Friday). The Admissions Nurse will be primarily responsible for reviewing the pre-admission documents of potential patients to determine eligibility for admission to our facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reviewing pre-admission screenings, medical and clinical records and all other patient information.
- Review admissions against approved admission criteria, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct nursing assessments.
- Collaborate with facility medical and psychiatric personnel onsite to maintain up-to-date medical and clinical admissions criteria for screening incoming patients.
- Liaise with client/family of potential admissions to address any questions, concerns, etc.
- Establishes professional rapport with client to ensure that they feel welcomed upon arrival.
- Supports arrival process including coordinating assessment/bed placement process, searches of client belongings/person for prohibited items.
- Orients client to the facility/milieu.
- Liaises with direct care/nursing/clinical team to ensure client is set-up with a treatment plan/schedule as needed.
- Ensures intake paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and documentation is maintained as required.
- Provides exceptional customer service in line with Acadia Healthcare standards.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- One or more years’ nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current RN or LPN license as required by state.
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
